Paignton, a small seaside town is in the centre of Torbay, situated between Torquay & Brixham. Torbay is also referred to as the 'English Riviera' and is a popular holiday destination.
Only 20 miles from Plymouth, Exeter & the M5. Paignton is an ideal base for touring Devon & Cornwall, and a great family holiday by the sea.

A favourite of ours is the ‘round robin trip’ – catch the bus from Paignton to Totnes, a boat down the River Dart from Totnes to Dartmouth, the ferry from Dartmouth to Kingswear and the steam train from Kingswear back to Paignton. You can start off where you like (Totnes, Dartmouth, Kingswear or Paignton), but leave plenty of time, it can be a full day out!
We can also recommend plenty of local pubs & restaurants, offering a wide range of cuisines, some within walking distance.

Peter & I are both keen walker/mountaineers as well as being scuba divers! Mount Elbrus, Kilimanjaro & Aconcagua, 14 countries in Africa, India, Sri Lanka & Nepal, South East Asia, Australasia & South America.
We even toured New Zealand on a tandem cycle!
We have plenty of information/maps/routes to share about the area and further afield as we have travelled to many countries, perhaps you could come and tell us about some of your stories!
We will gladly store equipment & cycles in our secure patio area and have a drying facility if required on request.
