The Culverden Guest House is ideally situated to arrive by  'Green means' .  We are situated on the South West Coastal Path and only a short walk from the train and bus stations, you might even arrive at Paignton harbour by ferry (seasonal) yacht or kayak!  You'll find this a more relaxing way to start your holiday rather than the worries of traffic jams etc. 

Train info: There is a taxi rank directly outside the train station, approx £4 or less to here, or give us a ring when you pass through Newton Abbot Station and we’ll pick you up when you arrive at Paignton. 

If you fancy the walk then turn right outside the front of the station. then turn right again down Torbay Road in the direction of the sea, when you reach the sea front turn left and keep walking for about 10mins where you’ll see the Redcliffe Lodge in front of you, continue along the road passing the Redcliffe Hotel on the right hand side, you’ll then see a pedestrian crossing, Colin Road is directly after this on the left, we are just up on the right hand side.

Following the A380 into Paignton, you'll come along the ring road. Turn left at the 'Preston Down' roundabout, and go down Preston Down Road. Follow the road right down to the set of traffic lights. Go straight across at the lights, down under the railway bridge and around to the right. Once you have gone across the 1st zebra crossing, Colin Road is the 2nd road on the right. Culverden Hotel is just up on the right.
